Day 195: DIY Hipster

Good day.

Goodwill.

That store comes in handy for sure.

Never know when you will need a sparkle hooker top for an audition?

Or grandma earrings?

Or a smelly flannel?

All of which I own and rock regularly.

Here’s a way to dress like a hipster/cowboy. It’s easy, cute, and simple!

1. Buy some old women’s (or men’s!) jeans from the 80s. Cut off at desired length (make sure to leave an inch to roll). Pull apart ends with scissors and wash in dryer several times.

2. Find an old Indian inspired belt. The more silver, the better. Men or women’s section! You can always punch an extra hole for fit.

3. Borrow ex boyfriend’s pajamas, or get a white tee and roll up sleeves. Tuck in tight to underwear. OH YA. I said it.

4. Bedazzle some cowboy shoes. This is probably the hardest part. Find an old pair of boots. If they are too small, deal. If they are too big, stuff socks in the toes. Get rhinestones at your local Michael’s store. AND GO TO TOWN!

For optimal hipster results, don’t wash hair or wear makeup. It’s Saturday!
