Yes, I know I’m late posting today. If you are at home sitting around waiting for my blog, shame on you! Go outside and get some rays!
I have been having the most fantastic weekend taking in the coast of California. I sort of feel like the luckiest girl in the world. Yesterday, we were able to tour the Old Mission Santa Ines, which is 200+ years old. It was remarkable to tour the museum/church and picture life back when no one was around. We loved Solvang, but didn’t even eat brats, pretzels, or dutch chocolate. I felt like that was a waste! My waistline did not. We were quite lucky to head back to Los Angeles yesterday, because watching traffic on the opposite side of the street was painful. We were flying in comparison.
Today was spent visiting at the Ritz LA. What a view! The rooftop pool was fantastic, and reminded me of some of my best NYC summers. Nothing screams NY like a rooftop pool. It was such a change from Podunk country, straight into the city. They even have televisions in the mirrors in the bathrooms there. What a concept! Poo and watch Jersey Shore. HA. Gross.
