Today was the big show! AWESOME, but totally exhausting (and all I did was watch..oops)! We were so slap happy post show, and spent an hour laughing our faces off at The Olive Garden. Being the only ones in the restaurant provided great entertainment. We could howl at all of our funny jokes, throw hands in the air almost hitting waitress every time (what timing she had), and use our wheely chairs too add drama to each joke by pushing back from the table. There was a lot of reenacting, falling, “back cracking” but not much eating. My throat hurt so bad from laughing so hard. We are a bunch of nerds.
Funny things I heard today:
-One of the little dancers in the dark “Help me! I can’t find my body!”
- Grandma Una (who weighs 80 lbs at 83) saying, “I think I’d like to try hot yoga. I’m getting a bit of a pouch around my stomach area.”
-A 9 year old, “I read your blog every day. I love it!” Ahh shoot. There go the bar stories, bad dates, bad language….etc! Hand slap Miss Cassie!
