Day 126: Cinco de Mayo

Well, it’s Cinco de Mayo, but it might as well be Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), because today I put my car to rest. It was such a sad, sad experience. I bought this 2005 BMW in college. It has been with me for every single relationship, traveled across the nation, and been my first and only big purchase and my best friend. Lately, it was cheating on me…using all my money and breaking down, and finally, it died of a heart attack. Simple and painless. I sold it to the junk yard this morning, and am now car-less. Devastating. I remember pulling into the dance studio and having all the kids run out to examine my awesome car. Poor guy. You will be missed.

What weirdo has time to take a photo shoot in the middle of a devastating moment? Ohh me. I cried all the way home, and even broke out in rash. Bummer.

Day I bought the car…so happy!

Beautiful Grey Beemer 2005-2012. RIP.
